I have been aware of the Dr. Funk for many years, but had not tried one until recently. Dr. Funk is a bit citrus, a little sweet, cut with a nice kick of Jamaican rum and absinthe with a splash of soda for sparkle.

Sometimes a cocktail isn't quite enough to beat the heat, and we must call for reinforcements. There are times when only a frozen treat will get the job done, whether it is ice cream, gelato, sorbet, or something else.
