Robert Crenshaw

CHANNAHON—Robert W. Crenshaw, "Bobby," 47, of Channahon, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home.
Born June 8, 1970, Robert W. was a son of Kyra (nee Connelly) and Stephen Crenshaw. He was a graduate of Minooka High School with the class of 1988, and went on to honorably serve in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service Bobby spent a portion of his life in Tucson, AZ where he worked for Intuit Software as a Customer Service Leader for 15 years until moving back to the Channahon area and taking a job with Honeywell Safety.
Bobby was a proud member of the brotherhood of Masons and enjoyed many summers with friends and family at the Rod and Gun Club in Morris. In his youth, he enjoyed square dancing and clogging, as well as creating many Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. He was an avid science-fiction and Game of Thrones fan who also enjoyed hunting, fishing and archery. Bobby will be remembered most for his sense of humor and his love of playing pranks and joking around.
Survivors include his mother, Kyra; four children, his dog brudder, Scooby Doo; uncles: Ron (Norma) Crenshaw, of Channahon; Harry (the late Wanda) Little, of Carlyle, IL and Ralph Connelly, of LaVista, NE; aunts: Janet Ridenour, of Braidwood; Marilyn (Dave) Stinson, of Janesville, WI and Rose Mary (the late Fred) Ehrman, of Coal City; cousins: Marissa, Rhonda, Kim, Chris, Kyle and numerous others, as well as dear friends: John and Randy, of Oregon.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Stephen on Oct. 11, 2016; infant brother and sister: Michael and Stephanie Crenshaw and cousin, Kenny Crenshaw.
Green flameless cremation rites have been accorded.
Visitation and video tribute will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m., at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 E. Washington St., one block east of IL Route 47, in Morris. Pastor Roy Backus will officiate.
Inurnment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Morris.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bobby’s memory to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
