Prom Walk Saturday afternoon at CCHS

Coal City High School’s prom is Saturday, April 28 and the public is invited to come out and view the grandeur of prom.
Beginning at 4:45 p.m. parents of students attending the prom and interested community members are invited to Prom Walk in the Coal City Performing Arts Center. The annual event provides an opportunity for parents and family members to take photographs of their students and friends as they head off to the spring formal.
Guests will gather in the auditorium to see the prom goers in their formal attire. Students will be announced and walk across the stage and onto awaiting charter buses that will take them to the prom being held at Tuscany Falls in Mokena.
In holding Prom Walk, school administration, prom sponsors and prom goers ask that parents do not travel to the banquet facility to take photos. All photos should be taken at Prom Walk.
Those planning to attend should arrive prior to the start, park in the west lot and proceed to the event entrance. Doors open to the public at 4:30 p.m.
