Paul Ruffatti

COAL CITY—Paul L. Ruffatti, 52, of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Born March 19, 1966 in Joliet, IL, Paul Louis was the son of Lorraine (Endrst) and  Louis P. Ruffatti. He was raised in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School with the class of 1984. Paul was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #265 and was employed with Roberts Environmental in Tinley Park.
One who loved the outdoors, Paul belonged to both the Area Number One Outdoor Club and the Coal City Area Club. He enjoyed deer hunting, and was a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Survivors include his mother, Lorraine, of Coal City; two sisters, Gail Brown, of Coal City and Lynn (Jeff) Fors, of Batavia; one nephew, Matthew Fors; three nieces: Sarah Fors, Elizabeth Fors and Lauren Brown; his aunt and uncle, Pat and Don Bianchetta of Coal City, and numerous cousins, as well as friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Louis in 2017.
Visitation and video tribute will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway, one block north of Illinois Route 113 in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 215 S. Kankakee St. in Coal City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Robert Noesen officiating.
Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery, where Paul will be laid to rest with his father.
