Nite at the Races

    The Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood will hold its fourth annual Nite at the Races event on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Gardner American Legion Hall, 426 Industry Ave., Gardner.
    The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the first race will be at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
    Advance tickets are available at the parish office, 110 S. School St., Braidwood and following Masses at the church.
    The theme this year is country western and attendees wearing their best western gear will receive an extra $10 in funny money. There will be horse racing, food, a silent auction, raffles and a live auction at the end of the evening.

    Proceeds from the Race Nite will help with renovations to the parish hall. Everyone 21-years and older is invited to attend.
