Medication take-back day on Saturday

The Grundy County Coroner’s Office and Behavioral Health Alliance are teaming up to host a medication take-back day.
Individuals will have an opportunity to drive through and drop off expired or unused medications at the Grundy County Administration Center, 1320 Union St., Morris, between 9 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15.
Grundy County Coroner John W. Callahan started the medication take back program several years ago and has partnered with local businesses and police departments to serve as drop off sites.
Those unable to take part in the drive through event on Saturday, can take their expired or unused medications for disposal to the Coal City Police Department, 545 S. Broadway during normal business hours.
Coal City Pharmacy, 175 S. Broadway, also serves as a medication and sharps drop off location through the coroner’s program.
