Marvin Redman

    SEARCY, AR—Marvin Charles Redman, 50, of Searcy, AR, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, surrounded by his family.
    He was born March 28, 1967, in Joliet, IL to Zelmer and Kathryn (Davis) Redman. He was from Wilmington, IL and graduated in 1985. He married Michelle (Just) Redman
on April 16, 1994 and in their 23 years of marriage, enjoyed life with their four wonderful children: Lindsey, Whitney, Joseph, and Andrea. Marvin was currently employed at Beebe Public Schools where he worked in maintenance fixing plumbing, mowers and anything else he could get his hands on. Working with his hands and helping those in need was his passion. Previously, he had worked for Walmart Distribution Center and the stores for about 20 years
and then a couple of years at Big Lots. He also attended Harding University and graduated from the Harding School of Biblical Studies (HSBS) in the summer of 2002.             Besides his family, he is survived by his mother, Kathryn Sue (Davis) Redman; his sister, Becky (Jason) Wilson and his niece, Molly Wilson; mother and father-in-law, Dennis and Andrea Just; sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Momar) Niang and Karen Ketchel, and lots of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Zelmer Redman; twin sons, Matthew and Andrew Redman; his brother-in-law, Jim Ketchel; his mother's parents, Clyde and Colen Davis and his father's parents, Walter
and Ina Redman.
    A funeral service was held at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy, AR on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. Marvin was laid to rest at Fredonia Cemetery in Bald Knob, near his father.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
