Louis Baber, Jr.

BRAIDWOOD—Louis Baber, Jr. “Bud” “Lou Bud”, 73, of Braidwood, IL passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.  
Born Jan. 28, 1944 in Morris, IL to  Louis and Ivena (nee Decker) Baber, Sr.  Louis was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Ineos nine years ago.  
Bud was an avid pool player, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and most importantly hanging out with his friends.  He also loved playing and spending time with his grandchildren.  Lou Bud was a member of the Braidwood Recreation Club and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 241 in Wilmington, IL.  
Surviving are his wife, Nellie (nee Thacker) Baber of Braidwood, whom he married March 2010 in Braidwood; four children: Brook (Suzanne) Baber of Romeoville, IL, Nichole (Rob) Boswell of Washington, IL, Angel (Jimmy) Boswell of Sturgis, MI, and Fred (Kibby) Flores of East Peoria, IL; twelve grandchildren; one brother: Greg Stewart of TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.  
Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents; one grandson, Christopher James McClain; and one sister, Maryann Barber.  
Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Bud's life will be held at a later date.
