Kay Kerwin

ARIZONA—Kay Yvonne Kerwin, (nee Koerner), 79, passed away Dec. 15, 2017 at her home in Sedona, AZ with her beloved husband, Bill by her bedside.
Born Feb 28,1938, Kay was the second daughter born to Glenn and Margaret (Pastore) Koerner in Coal City, IL. She was a graduating member of Coal City High School’s class of 1956.
Following graduation, Kay moved to Chicago. Residing at the Girls Eleanor Club she found steady employment in office work, much in the medical field, including many years with Dr. Karl Meyers. Marriage to Hal Lemke in Chicago moved her to Dallas through the 1970’s and then on to Ventura, CA, where she and Hal lived until his death in 1988. Upon Hal’s death Kay began work for Del West, where she met Bill Kerwin. Bill and Kay married in Santa Barbara April 30 1992, remaining in California until her retirement. Bill and Kay retired to Sedona, AZ, where they have happily enjoyed their home and beautiful surroundings for 20 years.
Kay  is survived by her husband, William Kerwin: sister, Lynn Nicoletti; nephew, Andrew Nicoletti; nieces, Jennifer (Mike Togliatti) Nicoletti and Kara Bismarck and cousin, James Pastore; step-son, Bill Kerwin and wife, Raquel Magro; step-daughter, Helen Kerwin-Saltzman; step-son, Christopher Kerwin and step-grandchild, Ashley Lines, all who loved Kay dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Genevieve DeYoung and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Nicoletti and Chuck DeYoung.
