Judith Maskel

MORRIS—Judith Maskel (nee Larson), 79, of Morris, passed peacefully Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Morris.
Born June 22, 1939 in Gardner, Judith Lee was the daughter of Harlow and Josephine (nee Vilt) Larson. She was raised and educated in Gardner, and graduated from Gardner South Wilmington High School. On Jan. 11, 1958 Judith married Edward Francis Maskel at Asbury Methodist Church in Gardner. She worked as a clerk for a pharmaceutical supply company, and will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed to read in her spare time.
Survivors include her three children: Mark (Theresa) Maskel, of Morris; Debra (Donald) Smith, of Cary, NC and Anthony (Tammy) Maskel, of Illinois as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward on Sept. 4, 1997.
Per her wishes, cremation rites are being accorded, and a private family inurnment will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery where Judith will be laid to rest with her husband.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Judith's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
