Ellen J. Beard

COAL CITY—Ellen J. Beard (nee Kubinski), 66, of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home.
Born Feb. 8, 1955 in Joliet, she was the daughter of Theodore Edward and Lillie Ellen (nee Herr) Kubinski. Ellen enjoyed watching NASCAR, game shows, and she also loved her flowers.
Surviving are three children: Jason (Kristie) Beard and Matt (Brittany) Beard, all of Braidwood and Amanda (Bunga Lemmer) Pearce, of Bolingbrook; six grandchildren: Jason Beard Jr., Mya Beard, Dexter Beard, Jeremiah Pearce Jr. and Tobey and Chesi Lemmer; one sister, Vicki (the late Vance) Miller, of Windsor, CO and two nieces and two nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore Kubinski and Lillie Flaynik and an infant sister, Teddi Jo.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial visitation for Ellen will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, 401 E. Main St., Braidwood, Friday, July 30, 2021 from 12 p.m. until memorial services at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
