Donald L. Norton

WILMINGTON—Donald L. Norton, 76, of Wilmington, formerly of Kankakee, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Riverside Miller Center in Kankakee.
Born Nov. 12, 1943 in Kankakee, Donald was a son of Clyde and Inez Norton. He was raised and educated in Kankakee and on Oct. 10, 1964 Donald married Theresse Rogers. Prior to retirement Donald owned and operated Union Hills Sales and Service. He was a member of the New Lenox Sportsman Club and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include two sons, John Norton and Ron Norton; three grandchildren: Kyrie, Sarah and Kyle; two great-grandchildren and one brother, Bury Norton.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Theresse in December, 2014.
Per Donald’s wishes, cremation rites are being accorded and inurnment will take place at a later date in Kankakee Memorial Gardens, where Donald will be laid to rest with his wife.
