Daniel J. Walski

CUSTER PARK—Daniel J. Walski, 52, of Custer Park, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 9, 2021.
He was born on May 31, 1968 in Chicago. Dan has been married for 23 years to his loving wife and best friend of 33 years, Susan C. Walski. Dan was a loving father of daughters, Sabrina M. Walski and Brianne (Kyler) Herklotz, and son Daniel (Kyle) Walski. He was a proud “Papa” to his grandson, Zane Julius Herklotz. Dan was the loving son of Sharon Walski and son-in-law to Carol McAndrews. Dan enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids fishing, boating, camping and always having great adventures. He was a very proud “Papa” to his first grandson, and was so happy spending time with him. Dan's passion was riding his Harley, with each of his kids riding their Harleys along with him. If you ever met Dan, you will never forget him.
Dan had a big heart and touched so many lives. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Dan will always be loved, missed and never forgotten. We love and miss you forever, for always, no matter what.
Visitation for Dan will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home and Crematory, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. All attendees will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing protocols. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
