Chili supper, gun raffle

    The Gardner Fire Protection District will host its second annual chili supper and gun raffle on Saturday, Nov. 4.
    The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion, 426 Industry Dr., Gardner.
    The all-you-can-eat chili supper will include dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage for $8. Advance tickets are available at the fire department for $7. Children ages 6 to 12 and senior citizens will be $5.
    There will be a 50/50 raffle, music and $1 drafts.

    Only 250 gun raffle tickets will be sold prior to Nov. 4. The cost is $20 per ticket. Contact a fire department member or the fire station at 815-237-8806.
    Grand prize will be an LWRC M6-IC or $500 cash; second prize a Winchester SX4 12 ga. or $250; and third prize a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.09mm or $250.
