Carroll Keigher

COAL CITY—Carroll Ann Keigher, 71, of Coal City, IL, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.
She was born March 6, 1946 in Joliet, IL to Patrick “Packey” and Eileen (Carroll) Webb.  She grew up in her large family with 10 siblings. She married Patrick Harold Keigher on July 25, 1964 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Chicago. Together they raised their family in the Coal City/Goose Lake area. Carroll worked as a nurse for many years for several area hospitals including: Good Samaritan, Presence St. Joseph in Joliet and Morris. She also worked as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Honig Bell. Carroll was a vibrant person who liked to travel and spend time with friends. She was a favorite of all in her large family and especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews.  Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Patrick, of Coal City; four children: Martin Keigher, of Orlando, FL; Katie (Max) Easton, of Goose Lake, IL; Matthew (Emily) Keigher, of Oconomowoc, WI and Greg (Amy) Keigher, of Elk Grove Village, IL; 13 grandchildren: Emily, Lizzie, Owen and Emmett Easton; Marianna, Quinn, Michael, Connor and Leo Keigher and James, John, Veronica and Joe Keigher; siblings: Patrick Webb, Greg (Mary Ellen) Webb, Mary Carrier, Sarah Webb, Liz Webb, Brad Webb, Tom Webb, Joyce Webb (Walter) Hutter and John (Molly) Webb and eight brothers and sisters-in-law. Also surviving is an aunt, Sue (James) Benson and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Packey and Eileen Webb; her sister, Meg Webb, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond's Catholic Church, 604 N. Raynor Ave. in Joliet, IL with a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 200 W. Romeo Rd. in Romeoville, IL.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 18, 2017 from 3 until 8 p.m. at Ferrari Funeral Services in Coal City, corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive.
