BRACEVILLE—Beatrice Beakley, 81, of Braceville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 at Salem Village and Rehabilitation Center in Joliet.  
She was born in Chicago on Feb. 11, 1937 to Walter and Izora Henager.   
Beatrice was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxillary, enjoyed playing bingo and spending time outdoors doing yardwork.
 She is survived by her daughter, Doris Harrison, of Braidwood; a son, Dennis Waldrop, of Braceville; sister, Sue Carlson; grandchildren: Jennifer Waldrop, Jennifer Harrison Jeffries, Jackilyn Harrison, Carrie Pittman Seabert, Michelle Hess, Amy Wasnich, Chad Winnicki, and William Wilette and several great-grandchilgren.   
She was preceded  in death by her parents, two sons, Mike Pittman and Bill Waldrop and a grandson, Eric Chapman.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 11, from 2-4 p.m. at Ferrari Funeral Services, corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive in Coal City .
