Boys and girls basketball seasons have concluded, allowing for a look back at some of the top players during covid-shortened seasons.
The Wilmington boys basketball team finished with an 8-3 record, second-best in the conference. Reed-Custer was 4-6, fifth in the conference while Coal City was sixth at 3-6.
Top scorer among the three area schools was Wilmington’s Ben Kreitz who tallied 220 points (22 ppg), 120 rebounds (12 rpg) and 30 blocks (3 bpg.) through 11 games. Kreitz also was second on his team with 18 threes.
