The Coal City softball team erupted with a 13-run third inning to upend Lisle 14-1 on Monday.
The Lady Coalers started scoring with a run in the second to take a 1-0 lead.
They added 13 in the third to break the game wide open beefore Lisle answered with a run but it wasn’t enough.
Kaitlyn Jasper went three innings, giving up just one hit while striking out three to get the win on her senior night. Bri Combes gave up the lone run n a hit while fanning four and walking three in the final two innings.
